BTC Prague: Europe’s Largest Bitcoin Event Underway

BTC Prague, the largest Bitcoin event in Europe, is currently taking place from Thursday, June 19th, to Saturday, June 21st. This annual conference gathers some of the most influential figures in the Bitcoin sector for its 2025 edition.

The speaker lineup includes prominent names such as Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy, Adam Back, creator of Hashcash, and Jack Mallers, founder of Strike and co-founder of Twenty One Capital.

The event follows the Bitcoin 2025 conference in the USA, which is considered the largest Bitcoin event globally.

What to Expect at BTC Prague

BTC Prague is being held in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, with the goal of strengthening Bitcoin adoption in Europe. The event features hundreds of speakers, including developers, entrepreneurs, and economists.

In addition to the headliners, the conference also features Jimmy Song, a Bitcoin expert, Eric Semler, president of Semler Scientific, Bradley Duke, an executive at Bitwise, Samson Mow, CEO of JAN3, Luke Dashjr, a Bitcoin developer, and Martti Malmi, the first Bitcoin developer after Satoshi Nakamoto.

Brazil is represented by Lucas Ferreira, co-founder of Vinteum.

Vinteum shared on Twitter:

“Our executive director @lucasdcf joined @giacomozucco, @danielabrozzoni, @ihate1999, and @GrassFedBitcoin at @BTCPrague to discuss Bitcoin’s open-source foundation and how its technology is built, maintained, and evolves over time.”

How to Follow the Event

Unfortunately, BTC Prague 2025 is not being broadcast live. Organizers have warned that any live streams claiming to be the conference are scams.

However, snippets of the talks can be found on social media, especially on the event’s official channels.

The conference is divided into four stages: Main, Expo, VIP, and Czech.

So far, a major highlight has been the participation of Jack Mallers, founder of Strike and co-founder of Twenty One Capital.

Mallers stated:

“I believe that this is the responsibility of our generation, the young people, I am talking to you. I don’t have any more dollars, and I didn’t do this for financial gain, I benefited financially, but I did this for a moral choice, for an ethical choice.”

Mallers also emphasized the security of the cryptocurrency, noting that:

“You can use the energy of thousands of suns and still not be able to hack Bitcoin.”

He added:

“No amount of violence and war can solve a mathematical problem. The strength of Bitcoin is in the numbers behind it. Its true power is not political or military, it is mathematical.”

Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy, is scheduled to speak on Saturday (21st) in the afternoon. The billionaire is already at the conference, and his talk is highly anticipated.

Saylor tweeted:

“₿ack in the heart of Europe for @BTCPrague.”
