Wormhole, a leading interoperability platform connecting traditional finance to the internet economy, has been chosen as the official partner for the newly launched VanEck® Treasury Fund, Ltd. (“VBILL”), through its exclusive partnership with Securitize Inc.
As an interoperability provider, Wormhole will be responsible for enabling multichain accessibility of VBILL on the Avalanche, BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Solana blockchains, as well as any other networks that may be added in the future.
Built on Securitize’s end-to-end tokenization infrastructure, VBILL offers qualified investors a fully collateralized, blockchain-based alternative to money market funds. Wormhole will enable secure and near-instant transfers of VBILL tokens between compatible networks, ensuring maximum asset mobility.
VanEck’s entry into the tokenized Treasuries market marks another inflection point for institutional adoption of onchain finance,” says Dan Reecer, co-founder of the Wormhole Foundation.
“With the global tokenization market growing every day and expected to reach $2 trillion by 2030, Wormhole is poised to be the foundational infrastructure upon which the internet of value will be built, an environment where real-world assets, crypto-native assets, capital markets, and government systems interoperate freely and securely,” adds Dan.
VBILL was developed to meet a wide range of emerging use cases, such as atomic liquidity through Agora’s AUSD stablecoins.
With onchain issuance via USDC and multichain access enabled by Wormhole, VBILL is positioned as an essential tool for digital asset treasuries, market makers, and institutions seeking exposure to yields backed by U.S. Treasury securities with real-time programmability.
As the official interoperability partner of Securitize, Wormhole offers multichain capabilities for a growing portfolio of tokenized products.
With over $3 billion in multichain tokenized assets under management (MTAUM), Wormhole is the most adopted interoperability platform for institutional tokenized assets.

About VanEck
VanEck has a history of looking beyond financial markets to identify trends that are likely to create impactful investment opportunities. We were one of the first U.S. asset managers to offer investors access to international markets.
This set the tone for the company’s effort to identify asset classes and trends – including investments in gold in 1968, emerging markets in 1993, and exchange-traded funds in 2006 – that later shaped the investment management industry.
